The Future for 3D Visualisation

Over recent years, 3D visualisation has become indispensable to architects, developers, product designers and their marketing agencies. 3D visualisation (the process of creating 3D models and then rendering images and animations from those models) makes it possible to show exactly how something will look, usually before it exists in the real world. A powerful design aid, and a highly effective marketing tool, 3D visualisation has increasingly become an intrinsic part of the way we work.

But technology is moving on, and the door is now wide open to use these 3D models in an entirely new way, by making them interactive for the end user. This means that instead of (or as well as) viewing images and animations of 3D models, users can now play around with those models in 3D space, in "real time" − zooming in and out, rotating, tumbling and navigating around the models as they choose.
